The Canon Pixma MP560 is an all-in-one printer that has wireless capability. This means that regardless of where your computer is in the house, it can wirelessly connect to the Pixma. No need for each computer to have a dedicated printer, you can have one printer serving the household printing needs.

While this may have the added advantage of cutting down unnecessary printing, the Canon Pixma also has built in 2-sided printing that saves money by reducing your paper costs. Measuring 17.9 x 14.5 x 6.3 inches and weighing 25 pounds, this is a compact printer that you can fit just about anywhere. If you print a lot of photos you will be happy with the 9600×2400 color dpi2 and the new 'Auto Photo Fix II'. This feature alone makes this a must have printer, here is what it does:

This built-in technology automatically categorizes your images into one of five types – Portrait, Scenery, Night Scenery, Snapshot with Scenery, and Snapshot with Night Scenery – then applies optimal image and multi-zone exposure correction. So, unexposed areas of the photo will be optimized, area by area and faces that are backlit and under-exposed will automatically be brightened with correct color cast to help ensure more accurate skin tones for gorgeous images.

The Canon Pixma comes complete with a 2" LCD so you can view your pictures before you print them. Because you can also load you picture image cards directly in the printer you don't need to use your computer as an interface, you can do everything on the printer. You can also plug in your USB flash drive, camera, DVD and blue tooth enabled phone. In short, it's a complete processing unit.

Canon hasn't focused just on its photo technology with this printer; if you scan many documents you will love the Auto Scan Mode feature: it can recognize the settings on your original document and save them. If you have never configured a wireless printer and need some help, Canon's instruction booklet makes it easy. Additional help is available through Canon's online support; however, users report wireless set up takes only a few moments.

If you take a lot of photographs, do a good amount of scanning, and also want to cut down on costs and, environmental impact, the Canon PIXMA MP560 is definitely a printer you should consider.
